FLORIDA 9/12 PROJECT

We Surround Them - FLORIDA - You Are Not Alone!

The FLORIDA 9.12 Project: We are a non-partisan group seeking to restore the Values and Principles listed below. If you are worried about the future of your county, you are not alone!!!!

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

The Twelve Values
1-Honesty 2-Reverence 3-Hope 4-Thrift 5-Humility 6-Charity
7-Sincerity
8-Moderation 9-Hard Work 10-Courage 11-Personal Responsibility 12-Gratitude

Depressing analysis of TARP

Covered with a tarp
via Belmont Club by Richard Fernandez on 2/2/10

The TARP Inspector General’s report is out. The following is a verbatim extract from the executive summary. The penultimate paragraph of the summary states that the financial danger is not past. If anything it has gotten worse. Reflecting on what lasting change TARP has brought to the economy, the report said:

Stated another way, even if TARP saved our financial system from driving off a cliff back in 2008, absent meaningful r… Continue

Deficit definition

Lately, you hear about the "deficit" and how they should not increase it.

Well, the deficit is the amount that must be borrowed each year. Keeping the deficit the same, means you continue to borrow for your spending.

Increasing the deficit means you borrow more this year than you did last year.
Reducing the deficit means you borrow less this year than you did last year.
Deficit neutral means you still borrow... the same as you did last year.

As you know, when you borrow, you pay interest.

Chat function is below

In case anyone is interested, there is a chat room at the bottom of the page. Put your cursor over the lower line and see the function highlight. Or... there is a Chat function in the top menu. Either one will work. The trick is to find another person who is there at the same time. To find out, type something in the chat and see if anyone answers you.
